about Us

WaWa Tea, born in Australia, is committed to integrating scientific herbal medicine with modern health concepts. Founded by Mark Zhang, a Chinese-Australian scientist with an Australian Master of Public Health (MPH) and Bachelor of Medical Science (BMedSci), the brand's core philosophy is to combine the natural vitality of pure Australian herbs with the harmonious wisdom of Eastern herbal culture , using precise analysis of modern chemistry and nutritional science to transform them into a herbal beverage system truly suitable for modern people's daily routines.

The birth of Wawa Tea stems from the founder's many years of experience in the fields of medicine and scientific research in China and Australia:

  • During the teaching and research stage at the School of Pharmacy of a famous Chinese university, he deeply explored the structural mechanism, pharmacological reactions and functional formula of herbal active ingredients.

  • While working in major Australian medical institutions and scientific research units, we continue to research the traditional applications and natural, pollution-free, organic properties of native Australian herbs.

This fusion of Chinese and Western cultures allows Wawa Tea to incorporate the five thousand years of Eastern herbal philosophy into its unique Australian herbal formula, while also ensuring that each product is verified and optimized using modern scientific methods.

We primarily use natural, organic, and traditional Australian herbs , sourced from Australia's unpolluted natural ecosystem. Each Wawa tea formula is designed to meet the health needs of modern people, specifically addressing common sub-health issues—liver burden, stress imbalances, mood swings, metabolic disorders, dampness and heat—providing gentle and systematic daily support.

Wawa Tea is not a collection of outdated health supplements, but a response to the unique Australian herbal science . It combines traditional wisdom, modern nutrition, and the power of natural ecology, so that every cup of tea can awaken the long-lost balance and rhythm between the modern body and mind.
